DONNA MADE MY FASTER NO KNEAD BREAD
“Hi Jenny! I’ve been making sourdough bread for about 10 years but I love your no knead bread, so I decided to see if I could blend them somehow. I made your recipe but I used 3/4 cup ripe sourdough starter instead of yeast, and only used 1.25 cups of cool water. I let it sit for 12 hours because sourdough gets more tang the longer it sits. It rose great, I baked in my ceramic baker, and it turned out beautifully, and the taste is awesome! Thanks for your great recipe! I will still use the original, but it’s always fun to experiment! ~ Donna Czech.”
~ Thanks for your photos and for sharing your quantities as quite a few people ask about how to use sourdough starter. – jenny

WHY CAN’T I LOG INTO YOUR RECIPES. I DON’T HAVE ANY OF THE OPTIONS LISTED UNDER SUBSCRIBE.. I JUST WANTE TO PRINT THE QUICK BREAD RECIPE YOU OFFERED. i DID SIGN INTO YOU SITE, BUT NEVER HEARD BACK. I’M IN MY 80’S AND DON’T do anything but e-mail.
Judie, I will try to help. I checked and see that you are subscribed to receive notifications when I post a new recipe. However, I only post a few recipes each year so don’t look for very many email notifications. As for printing a recipe, here is a suggestion. Click on the “print” button at the top right of the recipe. A window should then open up and at the bottom right you can click the “print” button.
If it needs to be in an email, then at the bottom left of that window is a drop-down menu that starts with PDF. Click on the little arrow you will see the option to “Send In Mail”. With that option you can email any recipe to yourself. I hope I made this clear but if not I am here to help if you need anything further. Just reply to this comment.
