KARYN (from Arizona) MADE MY COCONUT CAKE
“Hi Jenny, I have to say that I am so very, very happy with every single one of your recipes that I have tried… I am working my way through them. Hubby loves coconut, so I decided to make him your coconut cake today, for Valentine’s Day. I started getting the ingredients out and realized that my neighbor had all of my 8 inch cake pans. Then I discovered that I had only olive oil or grapeseed oil.. So I went with a glass pan and grapeseed oil and assumed it was doomed.

Jenny – You are most kind to offer to replace my Le Crueset Dutch Oven that suffered during the baking of the No-Knead Bread.. As I said, the loaf is lovely, the pot is not.I am leaving a comment here but after four fumbling attempts I cannot post photo from my Mac PhotoBooth (unlike normal people I have no cellphone). Would you please send me an email from your business address so I can drop the photos into a return email? That is the only way I can figure out how to send them. They won’t “stick” on to this message.
I love your recipes and I applaud your great talents!
This email should work: YourPhotos@JennyCanCook.com – From a camera or computer you should be able to drag & drop photos into this email. Let me know.
Please send more than one photo. We need to see the logo on the lid, the inside of the lid that has some numbers, and something that clearly shows the color. Also please provide the size in case the numbers are not enough. Thank you.
Case Closed. It looks like she realized I was not responsible so I will not be replacing her Dutch oven. My thanks to everyone for supporting me through this stressful event. ❤️
Your recipes are always great, wish you come back to youtube.
Jenney I made your crusty no-knead break and used my mother’s (at least 50 year old club aluminum dutch oven). It was wonderful except my Cuisinart Electric knife had a hard time cutting thru the bottom of the bread. The crust was too brown, but I don’t feel I rcan reduce the baking time, what could u suggest I can use in the bottom of the pan to reduce how the bottom crust can be less done. I found you on u-tube and thought I could do that and do not feel like I would get the use out of purchasing a LeCruest dutch oven (i will be 84 years old in 22 days).to see if that helps my problem. You are such a wonderful recipe person I can’t wait to try other recipes by you. Any suggestions for making the bottom crust less crusty? Baking at a lower temp? Thanking u in advance.
These all look amazing! Bravo! I’m excited to make this bread. I’ve never been successful at baking bread from scratch, so when I came across this recipe I thought I might be able to do this. Glad I stumbled upon your site and will post a pic when I make it. Fingers crossed ?……
Hello, Jenny Jones, (which makes me smile because I have a dear friend by that name:)…) , I have made your crispy no-knead bread several times now and everyone who receives a loaf is totally jazzed! The only problem here is…. I can’t stop eating it!! And my husband has the same issue. So, I continue to make and give!
I’m not sure how to post a pic here of the bread, but I top it off with “Everything Bagel Seed Mix” on a butter basting. SO YUMMY!!
Thanks again!
