Hi Jenny, wow, Joyce’s paczki look perfect and so pretty on the beautiful dishes! I need to try this recipe – I just found you on YouTube. The whole time I was watching the video I kept thinking, I know this woman – her smile, her demeanor, her friendliness. I finally googled you and now I know why you are so familiar. I used to watch your show all the time. You are just as engaging as ever, and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos and cook your dishes.
I love to cook. I am cooking meals for my mother in law and packaging and freezing them. My husband makes the trip to bring them to her once or twice a month. Now I am cooking for her 93 year old cousin as well. I love that they get so excited and enjoy what I make for them. It’s one silver lining to this pandemic, that I have found a way to make a small difference. It really gives me joy.
Thank you for all the hard work you put into making your videos and sharing your recipes. Know that there are two sweet elderly ladies in Southern California who will be enjoying the results!

I love that you are cooking for these women and that your husband makes the trip to deliver your home cooking. You are both an example of how everyone can make a difference in this world with a simple act of kindness. And who doesn’t love getting homemade food? I give my caramel corn every Christmas and people start checking in with me in September. “Are you making caramel corn again this Christmas?” I probably get more joy from giving it than they do receiving it. Or maybe that’s because I always make a little extra for me! 😋
