LIANA MADE MY HOMEMADE BUNS
“I’ve been making your bread recipes for about a year now. I’ve never been a baker and bread was always something I wished I could make but just could never get it right. It wasn’t until I saw your video on your simple white/whole wheat bread that I gave it another try. I’ve now even started experimenting with adding seeds and grains and have never been disappointed. My latest is homemade buns to go with a yummy pot of Chile for dinner tonight. Once again – turned out perfect!!! Thanks Jenny!”
– Liana, these rolls look delicious. I don’t see any reason to eat chili unless you have a “dunking roll!” 😋 – jenny

GUY MADE MY FASTER NO KNEAD BREAD
“I’m a sourdough baker, but sometimes I just don’t have the time that it takes to ferment a sourdough. Your 2 Hour No-knead bread is my go to for when I need a quick loaf. It always turns out great, never disappoints. I added sesame seeds to this which gives the bread a delicious nutty flavor. Thank you for this great recipe. Anyone who believes that they can’t make bread should definitely try this!”
– Wow, that is a gorgeous loaf of bread right there. I love sesame seeds and never thought to add it to this bread, but I will now. Thank you! – jenny
ALLY MADE MY FALL-OFF-THE-BONE RIBS
“Totally love all of the recipes on Jenny Can Cook. Here is a picture of my ribs, I went for an Asian inspired flavor by adding Chinese All Spice instead of chili powder. Came out like Jenny made them. My glaze was made from a homemade teriyaki, sugar and rice wine reduced. Thank you for the inspiration!”
– Ally, these ribs look amazing! What a great idea to go Asian. Thank you for sharing the details and for this great photo. – jenny

BUNNY (from Chicago) MADE MY RIBS & DEVILED EGGS
“Hi Jenny. I made these ribs a few years ago using Jenny’s recipe, and they were so good it is now our method for making all ribs. I started by using the dry rub, but added slices of fresh onion on top of them to cook under the foil with the ribs. I find that the onion and the ribs flavor each other during the cooking process. Once tender, the onions were removed (to be eaten as a side), and the sauce was brushed on. As you can see, I served the ribs with potato salad and the bbq onions. However, I chose not to cut each rib into individual pieces (Honest doc, I only had 1 piece). Even though I used St Louis Style ribs instead of baby back ribs, they were still so tender. Thank you for adding to our treasure of family favorite recipes.
Here’s a photo of the deviled eggs I made using your recipe. They’re delicious. I made 2 platters of them and not a single egg was left over. Thank’s again. ~ Bunny in Chicago.“
– What a great idea to put onions on top of the ribs. Thank you for your photos and good ideas. As for the deviled eggs, I always have the same experience. No matter how many I make, they always disappear! – jenny
RHONDA (from Kentucky) MADE MY LEMON BLUEBERRY MUFFINS
“Jenny, I made your delicious lemon blueberry muffins today here in the beautiful state of Kentucky! I had some sour cream to use up, so used that rather than buttermilk. It made for a thicker batter, but I think they taste yummy. That’s the great thing about your recipes…they can be adaptable, and the results are always wonderful. Thank you for sharing your love of cooking. I wish you health and happiness! ~ Rhonda Schell, Owensboro, KY.”
– These muffins look delicious. Thank you so much for your photo. I see you didn‘t skimp on the blueberries! 🫐😋 – jenny

BUNNY (from Chicago) MADE MY PIZZAS & MORE!
“Hi Jenny, I was so surprised to get your reply on YouTube. I’ve attached a sample of some of the pizza’s I’ve made using your recipe for pepperoni pizza through the years. Some photos you have probably seen, some you have not. Once I found out how tasty and easy it was to make my own pizza, I stopped ordering all pizza for delivery. I also learned something else. Never turn your back on a man with extra cheese in the house. I have one photo I did not attach because it’s swimming in cheese.
By chance, I had some from a takeout place last year. They put way too much chili flake in the sauce and I didn’t enjoy it at all. So it reaffirmed that making your own pizza is the smart way to go. Less expensive and healthier too (when Cheese Man isn’t around).
I’ve also included a couple of pictures of your recipes I made, including Low Fat Chocolate Pudding, Crusty, No Knead Rolls, and also Sandwich Buns made from the Crusty Roll Recipe, and some Mexican style dishes using your tortillas. Take care, and thank you for all thework you have done on behalf to help and educate others. ~ Bunny from Chi Town.”
– WOW! You just made my day! Your pizzas all look amazing and gave me some new ideas for toppings. It makes me so happy to see that my recipes are being enjoyed so much. Thank you!!❤️ – jenny
“I used your recipe for Hash Browns to make Stuffed Hash Browns with Lean Ham, Part Skim Cheddar Cheese, and Red Bell Peppers. Then topped it with Chives from my garden. It was delicious. My skin is dry, and my doctor said I should have more olive oil, so I used about a Tablespoon of oil instead of the 1 1/2 tsp. But they did not turn out greasy at all. Thanks for another great recipe!”
STEPHEN MADE MY NO KNEAD BREAD
“I made the recipe as described. Very easy, and the result was as I desired. When I was a kid (60 years ago!) I had an Italian friend whose Nona lived with them and she made bread the old fashioned way. It was delicious. I’ve been trying to replicate that bread for decades and I finally did it! Thanks to you. So easy and so delicious.“
– I’m so glad to hear it. Thank you for sending your photos. If you send more photos, please be sure to use the new email link: MyJennyRecipe@gmail.com – jenny
JEN (from Seattle) MADE MY FASTER NO KNEAD BREAD
“Hi there, My name is Jen and I am from Seattle, WA. My family and friends love this bread and it’s so hands free and versatile. We add rosemary to the recipe depending on the day, however it’s great just the way it is. And it’s nice to have a good bread recipe that you know what’s in it, no perervatives and you can adjust the salt depending on your dietary needs. Thank you for the great recipe. – Jen“
– I agree with you about knowing what’s in your bread and in this case, it’s only flour, yeast and salt – you can’t beat that. Thank you for taking time to send this pretty picture. – jenny
SUE MADE MY COOKIES & LEMON BARS
“Hi Jenny! I just wanted to share my dessert tray with you that I made for my nieces bridal shower! Your cookies are such a hit with our family so of course they had to be a part of this special event. CINDY MADE MY SNOWBALL COOKIES
“Hi Jenny. Love your recipes and as i have always done adapt recipes to whatever i have available and my own style! Made these today a version of snowballs, more cookie shape than round, we have eaten most of them as soon as they cooled from the oven for afternoon tea! As i added a little more sugar to my recipe i only dusted a little with icing sugar, used walnuts! Hubby was expecting Kourbethies (Greek Version of shortbreads rolled in icing sugar, made for Xmas and special occasions)! They turned out delicious, but next time i will make a double batch as they are so moorish! Your recipes are easy and most one bowls which i love! Thanks and hope you are keeping well! Regards Cindy.”
– Cindy, thank you for your photo. Your version sounds delicious. I am very familiar with kourabiedes because my stepmother was Greek. And you reminded us that it doesn’t have to be Christmas to make these easy cookies. – jenny

RHONDA MADE MY SIMPLE WHITE BREAD INTO ROLLS
“Good evening! These rolls were made using your Simple White Bread recipe. I prepared four batches using the same recipe with buttermilk instead of milk in two, nonfat dry milk in the other two; three with one egg and one batch without (Oops!) for a total yield of 36 rolls. I buttered the tops while still warm from the oven.
We made them to share with residents in the 55 and older mobile home park we live in for our first “2nd Friday Soup Social” held this February. My son suggested we do this dinner event a few months ago as a way of sharing and getting to know our neighbors. He moved here a year ago and has since realized many of the residents are well over 55 years old and don’t socialize much. We posted our invite in the monthly newsletter that is distributed to all 155 homes in our park. Everyone was invited with us knowing the usual turnout for activities is less than 12 people. We provided two homemade soups to choose from – Minestrone and Chicken Noodle – with a homemade roll.
We made enough soup for 24 thinking some might take some home to their neighbor. We provided cardboard soup containers with lids so they could transport their soup easily if they chose to take their soup home to eat or to share. Eighteen people showed up! All 18 stayed to eat their soup and socialize! Several had seconds and a few took soup to their neighbors. We also took soup to a couple of neighbors we knew were convalescing. We had a great time preparing the soups and rolls. We enjoyed socializing with neighbors we knew and met some new people, too.
We plan to repeat this event in March and April, at least. Given the thanks and the compliments we received, we anticipate needing more soup and rolls. Thank you for a delicious and simple recipe for the best rolls. After trying several recipes, your’s delivered the easiest, tastiest and most versatile rolls for our crowd. Brava!” (Feb. 23)
– Rhonda, you are a gift to your community. I’m so proud that my recipe was a part of this generous and welcoming event. Isolation is common with seniors and can lead to numerous health problems. Bringing your neighbors together is such a wonderful thing you and your son are doing. Homemade food is a gift from the heart and by simply bringing people together, you might also be saving lives. Please keep up this wonderful event and please send photos from the next one. I hope others might be inspired to follow your lead. I LOVE this!! – jenny
