Thank you so much for this recipe and your easy to understand video. I tried it tonight & the tortillas came out delicious! I made 16 smaller sized tortillas for soft tacos. I rolled out all of the tortillas, and after I finished rolling each one out, I set them staggered around on a large plate (no parchment needed). Once I had finished rolling all of the tortilla dough out, I cooked them on a flat griddle pan. It worked great.

I really enjoy watching all your videos, and appreciate that you break down difficult recipes and turn them into recipes that anyone could tackle.

    Thank you!

Hi Jenny, I was able to freeze these uncooked tortillas (seperated them with parchment paper, and stored in freezer bag). I used butter instead of canola oil as I found butter made for softer tortillas. Now, whenever I want a freshly cooked tortilla I just remove from freezer, place on cast iron pan and that’s it! Thanks so much for sharing your recipes!

Did you know that all canola oil is GMO?

With more and more awareness and demand, there are many non GMO canola oils. Some are even sold at Walmart.
