I picked this photo of my Easter Bunny Buns because it made me smile right away and also it reminded me that it doesn’t have to be Easter to make these adorable (and delicious) buns. The picture was sent in by Sandy, who made them for her grandchildren. She said they “absolutely loved them!” And so do I. š°ā¤ļøš°

MIL (from Canada) MADE MY VANILLA CAKE
“Hi Jenny: Ā My 4 year old grandson was watching Bubble Puppies the other day and he noticed that they had a rainbow cake and he promptly turned to me and asked if I could please make him one because he wanted to taste a rainbow cake. Ā So of course I went to your recipes and made the Vegan Vanilla Cake. He was so excited to try it and he just loved it. I have to confess the adults also loved it. I donāt use food colouring very often but I just had to make this one for him.Ā I have a set of five tiny round cake pans that I used. I weighted each pan to make sure the batter was evenly disturbed and your recipe was just enough. I then used food colouring gels for the colours and iced the layers with whipped cream and topped it with whipped cream swirls with a touch of tiny chocolate chips and chocolate little sticks. Ā The cooking time was much less so I just kept an eye on the oven. Ā Ā Your recipes saved the day again. Ā Thank you. ~ Mil from Canada.”

“Hi Jenny:Ā I made your delicious carrot cake the other day.Ā I added crushed walnuts to the batter and after it was baked I sliced the cake in half and spread a layer of your cream cheese icing with walnuts sprinkled on top and then iced the outside of the cake with the remaining icing and topped it with walnuts again.Ā Your desserts are so heavenly that they deserve to be photographed as such so when I can I add a splash of colour to go with them.
